| There will be NO in person payments for 2026. Mail your payments to 67 Fisk Road, Delhi, NY 13753 or use the drop box at that address. Please DO NOT use the drop box on the front of the Community Hall for tax payments. Partial payments cannot be accepted. Please be sure your check it written correctly before mailing or it will be returned. NOTICE REGARDING MAILED TAX PAYMENTS POSTMARKS: In November 2025, the federal government formally and quietly finalized changes to postmark procedures, which went into effect on December 24, 2025 and impacts individuals that use the United States Postal Service (USPS) to mail time-sensitive items. Mail dropped off more than 50-miles from a regional hub is collected and postmarked the next day as opposed to the same day. To ensure timely payment and avoid penalties that the Town cannot legally waive, taxpayers should either pay by dropping their payment in the drop box at 67 Fisk Road, or request hand-cancellation at a USPS retail counter when mailing payments near deadlines. Mailbox deposits may result in delayed postmarks that could trigger late payment penalties. IMPORTANT DATES: Paid by January 31st - without penalty Paid by February 28th - a 1% penalty is added on to the tax amount Paid by March 31st - a 2% penalty is added on to the tax amount Paid by April 30th - a 3% penalty is added on to the tax amount* After April 30th - all taxes must be paid directly to the Delaware County Treasurer in Delhi, New York. Please contact them for the current amount. *All payments postmarked after April 15th, MUST be a certified check or money order. Most questions can be answered by reading the BACK of your bill.
